Last year we introduced you to the Browning Buck packs from Signature Product Group. These versatile hunting day packs are packed with features and made of rugged, quiet, and dependable materials that will last you for years.
This year, SPG has released these packs in the new Browning A-TACS Arid/Urban camo pattern, to coordinate their Hell’s Canyon SPEED line of hunting clothing.
Modeled on camo used by the US Army, A-TACS gives you better concealment in a variety of terrains.
Also new for this year is the Buck Pack in a 1,700 cubic inch size. In addition to the 1,700 CI, the Buck comes in 1,250, 2,000, 2150, and 2,500 cubic-inch models.
Made of Browning’s Baumshell fabric, the pack is soft and quiet when moving through thick woods, but also delivers a tough exterior without the weight of traditional materials.
The Buck packs feature a water resistant DWR coating that will keep your gear dry, tough double seam construction, low profile lash points, a strap for hanging it up in your tree stand, and a hunter specific organization system to keep your important gear neat and accessible.
An integrated rifle butt sling and hydration bladder capability, further add to the features of this pack.
Wide adjustable padded shoulder straps allow you to easily adjust how the pack rides and heavily padded thermo-molded air channels make it comfortable. A center area with no padding at all, allows plenty of air to flow across your back to keep your back dry. A sternum strap keeps the shoulder straps together and a wide belt with ample hip hugging padding, provides two roomy easily accessible pockets for accessing that super essential gear without removing the pack.
The Buck1700 forgoes the pocket and belt to minimize weight, and instead provides a slip pocket on the outermost panel.
Unloaded, the Buck2000 weighs in at 3 pounds and the Buck1700 is a mere 1.5 pounds, giving you great carrying capacity, excellent concealment, and minimal weight for a pack this tough.
