How many of us, while grilling, experience ambient temperature woes? I can’t speak for everyone else, but I know I like to grill year round. However, due to the varying temperature changes throughout the year, it can be frustrating to get everything just perfect during the different seasons.
Green Mountain Grill has come up with a solution to some of these issues. The WiFi Edition has Sense-Mate, a thermal sensor which constantly monitors the ambient temperature. When temperatures fluctuate and get cold outside, the thermal sensor kicks the grill into “Turbo Mode” so you don’t have to wait long for the grill to heat up.
Another great feature is the positive pressure hopper fan that prevents burn-back. This “fan only” mode with automatic shut-off, blows ash out of the firebox after you finish grilling. This will insure clean burning with each and every use, also eliminating build-up.
The Daniel Boone has a 27”x16” stainless steel grate, which gives you 458 sq. inches of grilling area and 13.5 inches of clearance inside. Overall weight comes in at 155 pounds. With a wide range of adjustable temperatures, you can control your grill from 150- to 500-degrees Fahrenheit, in 5-degree increments. Whether you are smoking or searing, you can count on your Green Mountain Grill to give you unparalleled accuracy, regardless of the weather. Add the sensor probe that plugs into the jack on the controller with the opposite end plugging right into your meat, and you will then be able to enjoy very consistent prepared meats, every time you go to grill. You simply push the “Food” button on the controller and it will instantly display the internal temperature of the meat you are grilling with consistent accuracy.
With the firebox and its vertical grooves cut evenly on its sides, the air flows completely around the meat when you are grilling. This “cyclone” effect means more efficient pellet usage. With a greater efficiency in your grilling, it will also equal long term savings in its consumption of pellets.
With the ability to use IOS or Android Apps to monitor grill temperatures, monitor meat temperatures, set a timer/stopwatch or run a food profile, you will have perfection available each and every time you grill at the tip of your fingers. This works in the Point-to-Point mode (connect directly to the grill) and home WiFi (connect and monitor from your home network).
